Establishment of the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching (FSSK)

The Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching (FSSK) was officially established on 1 June 2010, following approval by the University Senate and the Ministry of Higher Education on 1 February 2005. The main responsibility of the Faculty is to produce knowledgeable, skilled, and competent graduates in the fields of Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching Science, Sports Rehabilitation, and Sports Psychology.

The academic programs offered by the Faculty are grounded in the discipline of Sports Science, which integrates various fields such as Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Education, and Social Sciences.

The Faculty serves as a training and professional development centre for individuals involved in the field of education, as well as a centre of excellence in academics and professionalism within the areas of Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching Science, Sports Rehabilitation, and Sports Psychology.

FSSK offers a range of academic programs including the Diploma in Sports Science and Coaching, and Bachelor’s Degree programs in Sports Science Education, Sports Psychology, Coaching Science, and Physical Education.
